Ann B. Kalinowski Tomczak

Ann B. Kalinowski Tomczak, age 70, of Erie, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at her residence following a two year battle with cancer.  Ann was a true warrior. 

She was born in Erie on July 15, 1950, a daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Kestel Kalinowski.

Ann graduated from Academy High School in 1969.

She worked in food service at LECOM at Village Square for many years.  Ann loved working on crossword puzzles and her cats.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a cousin, Carol Ann Thompson.

Ann is survived by her daughters, Tammy Tomczak and Stephanie Tomczak (companion Scott Kline), all of Erie; and her sister, Cathy Kalinowski, with whom she resided.  She is further survived by a cousin, Robert Thompson (Noreen) and two grandchildren, Bryan and Aaron Kaus, all of Erie.

Funeral arrangements were private and held at the convenience of the family by Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Road, Erie.

Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Interim HealthCare Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Ann.
