Barbara Crissman

Barbara D. Crissman, age 74, of Wattsburg, formerly of Kittanning, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie.

She was born on July 15, 1944 in Kittanning, PA, a daughter of the late Ralph and Vera Harkleroad McMeans. 

Barbara was a member of Rural Valley Presbyterian Church while in Kittanning and Belle Valley Presbyterian Church in Erie.  She was also a devoted homemaker and enjoyed gardening and antiques.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Rory Crissman, a brother, Hunter McMeans and a sister, Roseanne Hoover.  

Barbara is survived by her husband of 56 years, Edward Crissman, of Wattsburg; a daughter, Roxanne (Doug) Morris, of Meadville and two grandchildren, Tori A. Sheldon and Edward M. Sheldon and her beloved Dalmatian, Bella. 

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 4 PM, Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Belle Valley Presbyterian Church, 1694 Norcross Road, Erie, PA 16510, with rev. Davis Edmunds, officiating. 

Memorial contributions can be made to a church or animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
