Charles Niles Jr.

Charles E. “Chuck” Niles Jr. aka “Butch Lore” passed away peacefully at his home on November 13^th, 2017 at the age of 67. He was born August 14, 1950 in Erie, PA to Charles and Kathleen Courteau Niles.   

Chuck attended Strong Vincent in Erie. After graduation he served eight years in the US Army. One tour took him to Germany, which became his favorite place in the world. He retired from the Erie VA hospital in 2002. Chuck loved the outdoors and had a passion for hunting and fishing. He also adored animals, his two shepherds were by his side until the end. Family and friends meant the world to Chuck.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Pardee of McKean, his sons, Chad Niles and Joel Niles, daughter Peggy Jenco, and sister, Winnie Lore, all of Erie, and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Lore.

 A memorial service will be held at Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26^th Street (at Powell Ave,) Erie, PA 16506 on Thursday, November 16^th at 12:00 noon.
