Dorothy Respecki

Dorothy L. “Dot/Dottie” Morrow Respecki, 96, “finished her last row of knitting” and passed away on August 11, 2022 at Manchester Commons in Fairview, PA.

She was born October 30, 1925 in Erie, PA, daughter of the late Anna Leuth Raymer and Frank Morrow.

She graduated from East High School in 1943 and was a member of the National Honor Society.

She worked at Erie Steel Products until her retirement.

She was a member of the former Bethany Lutheran Church, Luther Memorial Church, Eastern Star Rainbow Girls, Erie Maennechor Club, and St. Mary’s Club. She enjoyed bowling, knitting, crossword puzzles, and playing cards and games with her “club girls.”

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. “Red” Respecki.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Respecki and his wife Sherry and James Respecki and his wife Beth both of Erie; a daughter, Judy Fritz and her husband Gary of McKean, PA; nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 4 great- great grandchildren.

Family and friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26^th Street on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of prayer service at 3:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
