Elizabeth Case

Elizabeth A. “Betsy” Case age 80, of Millcreek, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Edinboro Manor.

She was born in Erie on October 31, 1937 a daughter of the late Howard E. Ressler and Viola M. Iwig Ressler.

Betsy attended Millcreek High School and went on to work at Trasks, Millcreek

Community Hospital in the Lab Department, and as a Bank Teller at First

National Bank and PNC Bank.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Erie Siebenbeuger Club Ladies Auxiliary, Zem Zem Temple Shrine Club Women’s Auxiliary, and the Hamot Aid Society.

Betsy enjoyed playing golf and golfing in the church league, travels, as a Cuddler for the NICU Unit at Hamot Hospital and especially spending time with her family and many good friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Case, Sr., a sister, Mary Jane Vujusinovich, a brother, John H. Ressler, granddaughter, Michelle M. Willey, and a great granddaughter, Faith E. Case.

She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Geddes and her husband Larry of Edinboro and Deborah Bauman of Florida; two sons, Robert Case, Jr. and his wife Mary of North Carolina and Paul Case and his wife Wendy of Girard; 7 grandchildren, Jenifer Hall (Tukuli), Paul Case, Jr., James Case, Scott Case (Amy), Matthew Case, Justin Bauman, and Kelly Bauman; three great grandchildren, Hunter and Jaxon Case and Kamryn Hall; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Saturday April 21^st from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00am at Immanuel Lutheran Church 1002 Powell Ave. Erie, PA 16505, with Rev. Karen Lundwall officiating.

Burial will be private at Erie County Memorial Gardens.
