Ines Cruz

Inés M. Negrón Cruz, age 68, of Erie, passed away Saturday April 7th 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on August 26th, 1949 a daughter of the late Adrián Cruz.
Inés was a loving mother who loved cooking, baking, taking care of her family, and spending time with her two grandchildren. She was a virtuous woman who loved God and always put others before herself.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Cruz.
Inés is survived by her husband of 51 years, Edwin Negrón, her mother, Rosario Cruz, and her daughter Keila Y. Negrón. She is further survived by her grandsons, Ryan X. Vélez, Adrián E. Cuba (PR), her siblings, Carmen Ocasio, Miguelina Arvelo, Luis A. Cruz, Brunilda (Miguel) Alvárez, along with many nieces and nephews, with a special love for her niece Luz G. Arvelo.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 602 W.10th St., Erie on Tuesday, April 10th 2018 from 2-4 and 6 until the time of the prayer service at 8:00 PM. Private Service and burial will be at a later date in Puerto Rico.
