Roberta (Bobbi) Kennedy

Roberta Melanie Rautine Kennedy (Bobbi), 56, of Millcreek passed away peacefully Sunday, December 09, 2018 at UPMC Hamot Medical Center from complications from Juvenile Diabetes.

 She was born in Miami, FL on September 20, 1962, a daughter of the late Gary & Jane Rautine.

 Roberta was a graduate of McDowell High School class of 1980.  Upon graduation, Roberta began a career in administration for Millcreek and then Fairview School Districts.  She retired in 2011 from Fairview School District.  Roberta’s work was very important to her, she was self-motivated and hard-working despite her many health issues.

 Roberta was the life of the party, she had a quick wit and loved to help others in need.  She was known to plan many fund-raising events for non-profits in Erie County.  She especially loved young children and animals.  Her beloved dog, Tank, is missing her already. 

 Roberta is survived by her daughter Samantha Melanie Kennedy.  The two had a special bond, they loved, cared, and supported each other.

 She is further survived by two sisters:  Sharon Beskid and her friend Dean Bilotti and Lisa Maas and her husband Scott Huber as well as her nephew Max Maas.  In addition, she is survived by her cousin and best friend Carol Bohman all of Erie.

 Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26^th St. Erie (at Powell Ave.) Wednesday December 12^th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 13th 11:00am at the Church of the Cross, 5901 Millfair Rd, Fairview, PA 16415.
