Sandra Gordon

September 3, 1951 — September 21, 2018

Sandra K. (Lebhaft) Gordon, age 67, of McKean and formerly of Erie, passed away at her residence surrounded by her family, on Friday, September 21, 2018.

She was born in Espyville, PA on September 3, 1951, a daughter of the late Vera Eshenbaugh and Micheal Lebhaft, III. 

Sandy graduated from Conneaut Lake High School in 1969 and later enjoyed a long career in nursing, until retiring in 2017 from Your Pediatric Connection.  She enjoyed Karaoke, painting, hiding rocks, and reading. She loved the theatre and attending musicals, as well as the makeover days she received at her daughter’s hair salon, Hair HQ. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Carol Anne Fleming Al-Ajoroush. 

Sandy is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years, James R. Gordon of McKean; her furry companion, Banjo; her loving children, Matthew Wells and his wife, Moneque of Maryland; Nathan Gordon and his wife, Shawna; Mark Wells and his wife, Nicole; Mark Gordon and his wife, Jennifer; Nicole Whitaker and her husband, Steve; and Michelle Feath and her husband, Phillip. Sandy was a proud and caring grandmother of 25 grandchildren, all of whom cherish the time spent with her. She is also survived by her loving siblings; sisters, Cathy Dormer of Kokomo, IN and Sylvia Sanderson and her husband, Frank of Citrus Springs FL; a brother, Michael Lebhaft and his wife, Sanghette of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and many nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at the Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Road, on Saturday, October 6th from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.  Burial in Whispering Pines Cremation Garden. 

The family would like to thank Great Lakes Hospice for their care and support through the trying time.
